Two gates before the door, or none at all
Outside the village you usually pass a motorised gate, then a keypad pedestrian gate, before reaching the front door itself. A call that gives only Mougins and the 06250 postcode does not say where you are stopped. Be precise about it: at the gate control, halfway up the drive, or on the doorstep with the keys inside.
In the village the problem is reversed: no gate, no drive, but a street plan that coils uphill to place du Commandant Lamy, and pedestrian lanes where the vehicle stays below. Give the lane, the number of flights from the car park, and the nearest landmark — the Porte Sarrazine, the old washhouse, the church.
In the Mougins-le-Haut residences and the small blocks of Val de Mougins, what counts is the entry-phone and the floor: flat doors look the same at every level. Along avenue de Tournamy, say whether the door is the shop's, the flat above it, or the back way in from the courtyard.
What you show before anything is opened
